The 6th annual New York Hot Jazz Festival- featured two stages with twelve hours of continuous live music from fifteen hot jazz and swing bands. The Festival kicked off with “Hot Jazz Brunch” and also featured a NOLA-style Second Line parade, live performance artists, an Antique Gramophone DJ, and a raucous “Midnight Speakeasy Party” – with the fest’s trademark all-star jam session and classic burlesque acts – to cap the event. Celebrating traditional jazz with rising stars and legendary performers alike, the festival once again showcased the best talent of the hot jazz and swing revival in New York and beyond. The music spanned the entire scope of early jazz – from its New Orleans beginnings through the Jazz Age and Swing Era.
