Thank You
The first time I checked into the McKittrick Hotel I was in a profound stage of disconnection in my life. As I’ve found myself returning, I have been pulled warmly into a world and a community that values connection above all else. Connection to one’s body and how that can be used to communicate with others. Connection to one’s soul and how intense experiences can inspire potent self reflection. And most importantly, connection to those you share space with in those halls, masked and unmasked.
I have been changed by this production. I exist in the world more boldly. I engage with art more authentically. I have been seen and known by strangers and been wrapped in their kindness. I love more and fear less. Thank you to everyone who has played a part in this experience. You will forever hold a piece of my heart.
