A Treasure House of Passion and Secrets and Love
I first visited the show in 2012 with my ex-partner. We were instantly obsessed. Desperate to lay bare its mysteries, we returned again and again, unravelling its secrets and piecing together its stories. It felt like a walk-in puzzle box to be unlocked from the inside.
What followed was an outpouring of creativity and industry from the both of us—years of publishing our theories and conclusions. Years of knowing other warm and beautiful people who shared our passion. Our lives are genuinely different as a result of this show, and I will always remember with fondness that time of obsession and community.
We know that a lot of love was poured into creating this grand and obscure hotel—from performers and designers and staff. I will forever cherish the time we spent giving that love back.
