Thank you

My entire visit this past Saturday afternoon, the 14th, was incredible, but I especially wanted to give thanks for a particular moment. I won’t share too much, but I was very lucky to be introduced to Sleep No More with a singular experience after being invited off early. That experience was magical and incredible, and I especially wanted to thank the actor(s) involved. While magical, it was also something that piqued my nerves, but the sincere empathy and care for my wellbeing I experienced from one actor in question left me feeling safe and comfortable in an experience that could have been otherwise. It was an exercise in trust, and I have previously struggled in that area. Not only was it an unforgettable introduction to the story, but it also showed me the kindness and care strangers can give one another, and showed me what it was like to be made to feel safe in an intimidating situation. It was unexpectedly healing for me, and I am very grateful to have experienced it. Thank you again to the actor involved, the actors who got me there, and to everyone running the entire show (performers, designers, and crew) for taking such great care of the guests and giving us an incredible performance unlike anything I’ve experienced. The entire show was brave, fun, and enchanting. Neither I nor my partner will forget it.
